Senyk Roman

26 July 1968 – 25 January 2014

Born in Nakonechne Druhe of Lviv region. Served as a peacemaker of the UN during the Yugoslavian war, was flag-bearer, received battle rewards. He was a member of the 29th sotnia of the self-defence. On the 22nd of January during the confrontation against security forces on Hrushevskyi street, he was seriously wounded in the shoulder with an armour-piercing bullet. It stuck in his lung. Died in the hospital because of the loss of blood. Buried in his home village. Survived by his wife and an elderly mother.
