He lived in Vyshhorod, Kyiv region. He joined archeological expeditions, worked in zoo and in circus in Kyiv. Ihor was at Maidan on November 30. He got there serious injuries, but from the 17th of February he was again at the epicenter of events. On the 20th of February he was killed by a sniper bullet near the House of Trade Unions. He survived by his elderly parents.
